I started making jewelry because I couldn’t find anything that really resonated with me. What began as a way to make something for myself quickly became a fascination with working in silver. As I dove deeper into silversmithing, I began developing OSTEN as a place to explore that material through my own design language.

My background in industrial design continues to shape how I approach every piece. Form, function, proportion, and balance are fundamental, but so is the experience of wearing and interacting with an object. Every piece has to feel considered, comfortable, and purposeful.

I’ve always been drawn to architecture that expresses structure through movement, organic lines, and smooth surfaces. I find a similar balance between structure and softness in silver. It’s a precious material that holds value, but also one I can melt down and form into something that didn’t exist before.

At its core, OSTEN is a place for me to make the things I want to wear and live with.
